As a Halloween day special only, MidPhase web hosting is giving away Unlimited Disk Space & Bandwidth at a reduced price of $5.95/mo. versus the normal 250 GB Disk Space & 3 TB Bandwidth data transfer for $7.95/mo.

I use Midphase web hosting for my website AntonioWells.com and those contracted through NAMYnot Multimedia (30+ websites). So when I hear they are are giving away an insane package like this, I encourage my peers to purchase it. Their normal package is already insanely low priced and packed with tons of features, so imagine the same benefits at lower costs and Unlimited resources!

This phone keeps me in touch with the media I love most, the Internet. I can view full websites on a vivid screen; the colors pop and text is easy to read. I instantly have a wealth of information at my fingertips.

The web browser brings up full HTML pages minus Flash of course, no mobile web versions. That’s an app somebody should write. It can even handle JavaScript… I was able to launch the Lightbox Photogallery effect on one of my websites!

Poverty – Blog Action Day 08

With over 20,000 bloggers uniting today to not write about their blog’s niche, but about Poverty. My perspective is about Poverty at home… Here in the United States. Yes, it’s true we see those public announcement-type infomercials urging people to give same amounts a day to help children in Africa or India (And we should). But my focus is on everyday Americans deprived of common necessities that determine the quality of life.

Late last month I wrote about T-Mobile releasing the new G1 Google phone. Well… this weekend I was going to do an impulse buy! Yup… I was gonna get the iPhone and not wait on the G1. But going in the store really discouraged that decision, here’s why:

I watched Chris Coyiers’ screencast today on how to use sIFR to control fonts on the web. He followed a tutorial by Design Intellection to show how to incorporate it into your website.

The first time I saw this technique in use was on Teehan+Lax design agency website. Seems sIFR was been around a while and could be really cool for displaying whatever font you want in a website provided the user can display Flash and JavaScript.

I will be experimenting with this and post an article on it!
